Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TuneVault ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using TuneVault on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

TuneVault is a diagnostic and operational intelligence tool for Oracle databases. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and only with databases you own or are explicitly authorized to access.

Prohibited: Using TuneVault to connect to Oracle databases you do not own, manage, or have written authorization to access. This includes competitor reconnaissance, unauthorized security scanning, or any access that violates applicable computer access laws.

You also agree not to:

TuneVault is an advisory tool. All control actions (EBS commands, database operations) are executed at your direction and under your supervision. You remain fully responsible for any actions taken on your databases based on TuneVault's output.

Service Availability

No SLA at this stage. TuneVault is provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis. We target high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage or offer service credits for downtime.

We perform maintenance windows with advance notice where possible. For critical production use cases, we recommend retaining your own DBA capacity alongside TuneVault's automated tooling.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Material feature removals affecting paid plans will include a notification period of at least 30 days.

Payment Terms

Payment processor: All payments are handled by Razorpay. TuneVault does not store credit card numbers or banking credentials.

Data Ownership

You own your data. Your Oracle connection metadata, health check results, and any configuration you provide remain yours. TuneVault is a data processor — not a data owner.

For full details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

TuneVault is a diagnostic and advisory platform. We provide information about the state of your databases — we do not act autonomously without your explicit instruction.

TuneVault is not responsible for:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TuneVault's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability — in those cases, the above limit applies to the fullest extent permitted.

Termination

By you: Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access remains active through the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion unless you request immediate deletion.

By TuneVault: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use provisions. We will provide notice where possible, except in cases of severe or ongoing abuse.

After termination: All data associated with your account is deleted within 30 days. Payment records required for financial compliance are retained per applicable law (typically 7 years).

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or business updates. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with a change, you may cancel before the effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which TuneVault operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable local law.
